Food was ok. Service was a little slow. Asked for soft tacos with no cheese and got hard tacos with cheese. Server went on break while I was eating but I didn’t know.

Consistently great service and food, large portions at a fair price. A fantastic locally owned restaurants and one of the best options in International Falls. Don't miss their happy hour margarita specials, if that's your thing!

Best Mexican food around, the Texas Burrito with steak! Best thing on the menu. The only thing I didn't like was that the seating felt a little cramped and the seats were ripped badly on one of the booths

Service sucked but I assume the waitress was new - Had to ask 3 times for napkins and silverware with our appetizers and drinks. Only to ask the lady bringing our dinners out to bring them.That aside, the food was amazing! Best queso up North! Raspberry margarita was sweet but strong. Excellent desserts as well! :)

The food was good. The service was not. Booths, tables and floors were filthy.

The food is good for the price. The portions are absolutely insane for the cost. Delicious, high value and the service is good. Especially lunch and happy hour. For less than 10 dollars you can get very full and for smaller appetites have left overs.

We stopped in while in IF on the middle of the afternoon, great service and food even during an off time. Will definitely return when we're in the area again! The burrito Mexicano was great in both beef and Chicken.

I was pleasantly surprised to find good Mexican food at the very top of Minnesota! I'm vegan and it was easy for me to find several options to make vegan! The service was quick and attentive. The restaurant has a quirky vibe with booths adorned with tropical animal motifs!

I didn't expect a Mexican restaurant in northern Minnesota to be all that good, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was good and had hefty portions.

We had lunch & went because of reviews on google maps. Complimentary Chip(over-cooked or old oil?) & salsa. Spanish rice, ground beef taco meat & refried beans were tasteless. Chicken was good & made with the correct cheese!!! The neighboring table had the pineapple fajita which looked awesome we may go back and try that but we'll be trying other restaurants in the area probably before going back again. Not sure where people in the reviews have been eating real Mexican food but we were not impressed.They do have two happy hours for day and night. Service was okay, at the end our waitress kind of disappeared and we had to hunt down another server to get our tab & checked out but the rest of the staff were polite, helpful & welcoming.

Food was great need more workers but people these days don't want to work so many places are short staffed. Get the lazy people back to work and cut them off their welfare and all businesses will be full staffed.

The food is delicious. The waitstaff is prompt and friendly. Portions are huge! I would have given it a 5 star, however the music is just too loud for my liking. I asked for it to be turned down, sadly our waitress said the volume control was in her bosses office that she did not have access to. I will be back.

Excellent margaritas the polo ala creama and polo barajas were fantastic. Hostess and server very friendly.

Food is just ok. I had chimichanga and it was mushy like they pre-made them and put them in the microwave before serving them. That was my 1st time there, I will try it 1 more time.

It's an ok Mexican restaurant. You can't expect much so far north from Mexico.

My wife and I ate supper here tonight. The food was excellent and our waitress Debbie was the best.

3 people ordered 3 different meals. One came out wrong and supposedly remade within a minute. All 3 meals were ice cold. Didn't get past the first bite

Overall Great Place! I ordered the seafood chimichanga, it was very good. The only reason I didn't give five stars was the menu stated it had shrimp and imitation lobster meat. Good amount of shrimp but I didn't see anything else.I didn't complain because it was still great and service was excellent.

We had a great time, food was very good, next time we will try the fajitas in the pineapple! Elizabeth was a very attentive waitress.

Great place with reasonably priced food

We have been here several times and and have been very happy with the food and service. We have also placed orders for pickup to bring back across the border. Wish we had a proper Mexican place on this side. Will be back again and highly recommended for all.

If you're looking Mexican in international falls, this is your place. Guacamole dip was delicious and half off appetizers was a great deal

The food not to bad. One person sits you down at the table then another takes your order then another serves your food. Other then that my experience was good. I'll be going back for more.

April and I have been visiting Barajas since it first opened a few years ago. The food is always great, and the happy hour pricing is amazing! Great job with the patio this year! You'll want to try the chimichangas, or better yet the Torpedo Burrito, if you are up for the challenge.
